Rising Stars 2014: Most Influential Women in UK IT
Sheree is a 23 year old QUB Computer Science alumna (primarily based in Belfast), currently working as a software engineer with Kainos Software. Alongside her work in Kainos, she has also founded the first UK branches of Women Who Code in Belfast and London, which aim to eradicate the gender bias in the IT industry by creating a local havens for tech women through monthly hack nights, tech talks and career trainings.
In her spare time, she enjoys modelling, spending time with her partner Sean (and their dog Alfie) and having the odd mojito.
During the judging process for the top 25 Most Influential Women in UK IT the judges felt that a Rising Star category needed to be added so a handful of the ladies could be acknowledged for their work and their potential.
